Woke City is a collection of services hosted to get people to at least try out open & federated software, all services hosted are free to be registered to (even if some do require moderator approval).

We hope to provide a safe and welcoming place to both queer & non-queer people, with guides & support for all the Services/Sites listed below.

Matrix

Matrix Space

A space to hang out and for all things woke.city
Available here, or manually at #home:woke.city.

Matrix Server

Synapse homeserver hosted at matrix.woke.city, registrations open by invitation (registration tokens handed out by instance members, just ask).

Sable Mirror

An "almost stable" matrix client with bleeding edge features, running the next rewrite. Chosen as I believe its the least buggy client for transitional discord users.
Hosted at sable.woke.city, some defaults may be changed.

Synapse-Admin Mirror

A useful admin panel for synapse based homeservers, anyone can use it if they wish

Running both JWT & Livekit, if you dont have the hardware for livekit please contact me about using ours.

Running GoToSocial as its server software since I think its neat, lightweight and queer.
Hosted at fedi.woke.city, registrations open through approval.

Running Mailcow, it's email yall know what email is. (hopefully)

The Atmosphere & Wafrn

I'm not personally very invested in the atmosphere BUT I quite like wafrn, if it's an excuse to host more stuff that people might use I'll do it.

Oauth & Woke Login

Priority 2

Ideal for distributing login and services in a way that isn't hell to manage where I have to approve 5 different registrations per person. Basically required as wokecity scales.

Donations are already accepted on a personal ko-fi but setting up crypto donations and a monthly expenditure report would be ideal.
The only crypto we would accept would me monero. I personally don't believe in any other projects.
